AI CONVERSATIONS
A series of bite-sized leadership scenario videos built with AI, designed to sit inside face-to-face training and make the theory feel real before the session begins.
BRIEF
A large housing association needed richer, more contextually relevant materials to support an existing leadership and management training programme. The videos needed to work as scene-setters inside face-to-face sessions, giving a room full of learners a shared reference point before the facilitator began.
CHALLENGE
Leadership training lives or dies on how relatable the examples feel. Abstract models and slides do not do it. The team needed professional video content at a scale and speed that traditional production could not deliver affordably, and it needed to complement a structured curriculum rather than sit alongside it.
WHAT WAS PRODUCED
- A library of 2 to 3 minute scenario videos depicting realistic leadership and management situations including difficult conversations, priority management, and team dynamics
- Each video scripted to follow a whole-part-whole learning methodology: setting the scene before the session, giving facilitators a shared context to build from
- AI-generated video using Synthesia with diverse virtual actors and customisable settings
- Custom branding, logos, and visual elements designed in Adobe Illustrator to maintain organisational identity throughout

Design Intent
Clean and professional with a corporate realism that makes the scenarios feel plausible rather than staged. Synthesia's virtual actor environments were selected and customised to reflect realistic workplace settings. Custom brand elements from Illustrator ensured the series felt like a coherent, organisation-owned resource rather than off-the-shelf content.
- Corporate realism prioritised to make scenarios relatable to learners.
- Custom brand elements used to prevent content from feeling like off-the-shelf AI generation.
- Environments curated to reflect genuine workplace settings within the housing association context.
